The threat, allegedly from Canada-based gangster Goldy Brar, who is associated with the Lawrence Bishnoi gang, arrived just hours after the rapper released his emotional tribute to the late Sidhu Moosewala on May 25.

The threat message was sent to the official Bantai Records mobile number, giving the artist a chilling 24-hour ultimatum. Emiway’s management promptly approached authorities and filed a complaint at the NRI Coastal Police Station in Navi Mumbai.
Following this, Mumbai Police have launched a high-priority investigation, with the Crime Branch also stepping in to support efforts in tracing the sender and determining the origin of the message. The case has been registered against an unidentified individual, and technical surveillance and cyber tracking are being deployed as part of the probe.
