Tuset Dwiz opens a deeply personal chapter of his musical journey with ‘Ishq Rog’, a nine-track album exploring different emotions of love, heartbreak, emotional attachment and self-discovery, now officially out.
Love can be beautiful, comforting, addictive and sometimes painfully difficult to understand. Exploring these different emotions through music, singer, songwriter and music producer Tuset Dwiz has officially released his new album, Ishq Rog, on November 4, 2026. Bringing together contemporary pop, R&B and Indian melodic influences, the nine-track project takes listeners through different stages of love, from the excitement of falling for someone and the intimacy of a relationship to emotional dependency, unanswered questions and the experience of heartbreak.
Featuring tracks such as Ishq Tera, Iqraar, Deewana, Dilruba, Khudgarzi, October, Sapna and Dosti, alongside an extended version of Iqraar, the album presents love from multiple emotional perspectives. Rather than restricting itself to conventional romantic storytelling, Dwiz explores the vulnerability, uncertainty and complexity that often accompany relationships. The artist particularly highlights Ishq Tera and Iqraar as two of the project’s most personal songs, with the former capturing love in its purest and most intense form, while the latter explores heartbreak, unanswered questions and the emotions left behind when a relationship does not turn out as expected.

The journey behind Ishq Rog is equally personal. Following an encouraging audience response after performing at Vishal Dadlani’s trial show, Dwiz felt motivated to build his own original repertoire and establish himself as a performing artist. He revisited nearly 3,000 recordings accumulated over ten years, shortlisted his strongest material and eventually challenged himself to create an album within just 45 days. However, the process was far from easy. The loss of someone close to him deeply affected his relationship with music, even making him consider stepping away from it. Eventually, he channelled that grief and determination into the creative process, completing more than ten songs and deciding to divide the larger project into two separate releases, Ishq Rog and its planned follow-up, Ishq Marz.
Another significant milestone arrived during the final ten days of his challenge, when Dwiz was selected among the top ten participants for the JBL Martin Garrix Music Academy. A track created for the academy challenge subsequently gained considerable attention online, with its accompanying video reportedly generating 4.4 million views across social media. He also documented his 45-day creative process online, gradually building a community of listeners and independent musicians who connected with his journey.

Musically, Ishq Rog represents a significant departure from Dwiz’s earlier rock-influenced work. This time, he took greater creative control and produced the album himself, shaping its sound around his own artistic vision. The project features collaborations with Shreya Dhavle, Mowktik Chakraborty, Gauri Singhal, Idhan, TG, Rusty Crap, Crispin and Nimai. The track credits also list Lijin Joy, Addie Palsetia and Ashish Raitani in the mixing and mastering credits. With songwriting and composition led primarily by Dwiz, alongside contributions from collaborators on selected tracks, the album reflects his growing identity as both a vocalist and an independent music producer.
Dwiz’s musical journey began in 2012 as a school choir vocalist, where his first experience performing in front of thousands of students sparked a lasting passion for the stage. Influenced by rock bands such as Guns N’ Roses, Metallica and Green Day, he later learned guitar and formed a band during his engineering years. A major turning point came in 2022 when his team won the Platinum Track of the Year award at the Indian Film Project’s 50 Hour Music Challenge. Following this achievement, he moved to Mumbai to pursue music professionally and further develop his production skills, including opportunities to work with industry professionals such as Shantanu Hudlikar and Shashwat Sachdev.
Speaking about his artistic identity, Dwiz describes his music as a blend of contemporary pop, R&B and Indian melodic influences, with an emphasis on emotional storytelling, intimate vocals and memorable melodies. His ambition is to develop a recognisable musical identity that audiences can associate with his name rather than confining his sound to a particular genre.
With Ishq Rog, Tuset Dwiz is not just presenting another collection of romantic songs; he is transforming his personal experiences and different emotions of love into a cohesive musical narrative. As he celebrates the album’s release, he is also looking ahead to an album launch event and live performances featuring songs from the record, alongside unreleased material from his next project, Ishq Marz. For listeners who have experienced love in its many forms, Ishq Rog offers an opportunity to discover those emotions through Dwiz’s musical storytelling.
