After 5 Years of Silence, Delhi Duo AvencureXAavii Return With ‘Turbo Mirage’ — Is This the Most Explosive Comeback in India’s Electronic Scene?

The Indian electronic music landscape is witnessing a striking revival as AvencureXAavii step back into the spotlight after a five-year hiatus. Known individually as Chittrang Asthana and Aviral Garg, the duo has re-emerged with a powerful new project titled Turbo Mirage, instantly reigniting attention across underground and mainstream electronic circles. For fans who have followed their journey since the mid-2010s, this comeback feels less like a return — and more like a reinvention.

AvencureXAavii first formed their creative alliance in 2015, carving a niche presence across Delhi, Dehradun, and Mumbai. At a time when India’s independent electronic scene was still developing its identity, the duo distinguished themselves through a blend of high-energy DJ performances and original productions. Their early momentum was boosted by the strong reception of their music video “IVO”, which helped establish them as artists to watch in the emerging circuit.

Behind their artistic vision lies a strong technical foundation. Both Chittrang and Aviral refined their production skills at the I Love Music Academy in Gurgaon, where they mastered sound design, arrangement, and mixing. This training translated into live sets known for seamless transitions, tight control of crowd energy, and a deep understanding of dance floor dynamics. Their performances quickly became recognized for balancing musical storytelling with club-driven intensity.

Just as their career was gaining steady traction, the duo made an unexpected move. From 2020 to 2025, AvencureXAavii stepped away from public releases and live shows, choosing instead to focus on personal growth and reimagining their creative direction. The break left a noticeable silence in the spaces they once occupied — and built quiet anticipation among listeners who wondered when, or if, they would return.

That question has now been answered with Turbo Mirage. The new project marks a sonic evolution, introducing a heavier, futuristic dubstep-electronic sound while retaining the duo’s signature precision in production. The release signals a fresh era — one that bridges their early high-energy club identity with a more mature and experimental approach to electronic composition.

But Turbo Mirage is only the beginning. The duo has already announced a packed release roadmap for 2026. A new track is scheduled for March, serving as the opening chapter toward their upcoming debut EP Desire, a three-track melodic techno project. Alongside this, they are preparing Naam and Junoon, both rooted in minimal and indie techno aesthetics. Adding further momentum is Yantra EP, another three-track collection built around high-tech minimal soundscapes.

This structured rollout reflects a clear artistic vision: AvencureXAavii are not merely returning — they are building a new legacy phase by phase.

In an industry where comebacks often fade into nostalgia, AvencureXAavii are positioning themselves differently. Their re-entry is forward-looking, production-driven, and globally aligned with current electronic trends. With experience from their early rise and a sharpened creative identity shaped during their hiatus, they now stand as revitalized contenders in India’s fast-growing electronic ecosystem.

As Turbo Mirage continues to gain traction, one question dominates conversation among electronic music followers: Is this the beginning of India’s next major electronic breakthrough duo?

If early signals are anything to go by, AvencureXAavii are not just back. They are ready to redefine the game.
