By registering for the Musical Audition 2024, all participants from Kanpur Institute of Technology (KIT) agree to the following terms and conditions. Please read them carefully before completing your registration and payment.
1. Eligibility:
The audition is open to all students of Kanpur Institute of Technology, irrespective of their course or year of study.
Participants can audition in categories such as singing, songwriting, music production, instrumental performance, and rapping.
2. Registration & Payment:
A non-refundable fee of ₹249/- is required for participating in the audition.
Payment must be made via the provided payment options (Google Pay, UPI, Paytm, etc.).
Proof of payment (screenshot/transaction ID) must be submitted along with the registration form.
No refunds will be provided under any circumstances, including inability to attend the audition. Ensure your payment is completed carefully and that you are available for the audition date.
3. Audition Dates & Attendance:
Participants will be notified in advance about the date, time, and location (or online format) of their audition.
It is the participant’s responsibility to ensure they are available for the audition at the designated time.
Failure to attend the audition on the assigned date will result in disqualification, with no refund.
4. Submission of Materials:
All participants must submit their audition videos or audio recordings as required during registration.
Only original or legally authorized content may be used during the audition.
Plagiarism or unauthorized use of copyrighted material will lead to immediate disqualification.
5. Selection Process:
Auditions will be judged by a panel of experienced musicians and industry professionals.
The decision of the judges will be final and cannot be contested.
6. Code of Conduct:
Participants are expected to behave respectfully towards the organizers, judges, and fellow participants.
Any form of inappropriate behavior, misconduct, or breach of these terms will lead to immediate disqualification.
7. Data Collection & Usage:
By participating in the audition, participants consent to the collection and use of their personal data for event-related communication and future opportunities.
Your contact details may also be used to notify you of future events, workshops, or collaborations.
8. Media Release:
By registering, participants grant the organizers permission to use their audition footage, photos, or other related materials for promotional purposes across various platforms, including social media, websites, and marketing campaigns.
9. Changes to Terms:
The organizers reserve the right to make changes to the terms and conditions at any time. Participants will be notified of any significant changes.

By completing your registration and payment, you agree to abide by all the terms and conditions outlined above. Failure to adhere to these terms may result in disqualification without refund.
